About this template

The review I run in my own school.

The threats aimed at schools now are AI-shaped: phishing written by models rather than templates, voice cloning, deepfake calls aimed at finance offices, and staff quietly feeding student data into tools nobody approved. This kit is the structured review I sit down and run with my own IT Manager: a timed agenda for the conversation, and a minutes template that turns it into a Red / Amber / Green audit of ten controls plus a three-sentence summary your Head or board can actually read. You don't need a consultant to run it. You need an hour, the two right people in the room, and the discipline to write down what you find.

What you get

Two documents, one working meeting.

  • The meeting agenda: seven sections, timed, from threat landscape through to decisions and next actions.
  • The minutes and executive summary template, with the Red / Amber / Green audit table of ten infrastructure controls.
  • Data protection prompts written for PDPA, GDPR and FERPA contexts, including the shadow-AI questions that are easy to miss.
  • An action table with owners and due dates, a three-sentence leadership summary, and a recommended review cadence.

Who's behind this

Littlejohns is an educator-led partnership for AI in schools: long-term, alongside-the-school implementation, led by a practising Director of Technology who runs this work inside a real school every week. If the review surfaces more red than you expected, that's worth a conversation first.
